AIS Signs New Manufacturing ERP Assessment Engagement

We’re excited to announce that Advisory IS Solutions (AIS) has recently been engaged by a growing manufacturing company in Vancouver, B.C. to complete a focused Rapid ERP Assessment.

This four-week engagement is designed to help the client prioritize operational improvements and establish a practical roadmap for future technology investments.

While their existing financial system continues to meet many of their accounting needs, the business has identified opportunities to improve several operational areas, particularly around quoting, sales, purchasing, and manufacturing processes, where manual workflows and spreadsheet-driven activities have become increasingly time-consuming as the company has grown.

Rather than recommending a complete system replacement from the outset, our assessment will focus on answering the right questions first:

  • Where are the biggest operational bottlenecks today?
  • Which existing systems and functionality can be better utilized?
  • What processes should be improved or automated first?
  • How can future technology investments be introduced in manageable phases?
  • What should the roadmap look like for integrating with a future financial or ERP platform?

At AIS, we believe successful ERP initiatives don’t always begin with selecting new software. They begin with understanding the business, identifying priorities, and building a roadmap that aligns with both operational needs and budget.

At the conclusion of this engagement, the client will receive a prioritized set of recommendations, a phased technology roadmap, and guidance on the next steps, including vendor evaluation and a strategy for integrating operational systems with a future financial platform, when the business is ready.

This project also demonstrates something we strongly believe at AIS: Every business deserves access to independent ERP advice, regardless of company size.

Whether the engagement spans four weeks or twelve months, our objective remains the same, helping organizations make informed technology decisions that support long-term growth.
